I was delighted that my pitch won the tender for the Scottish Book Trust’s ‘Scottish Children’s Book Awards’ graphic design work.
Working to the SBT’s brand guidelines, I created the look for the award’s information, publicity and voting packs. The project covered the design of posters, a bookmark, a children’s activity book, voting slips, a guide for teachers, book stickers and certificates for voters and authors in each category. My designs were based on the colour coding of each age category, along with a set of icon designs to clearly illustrate each stage of the voting process.
Since working on this project back in 2014 I continued to work with Scottish Book Trust on their book awards designs each and also produced a whole range of graphics for their children’s packs and other campaigns before they moved design in-house.
