I designed this fully illustrated tourist map of Edinburgh for The Pretty Useful Map Company. Starting by drawing out the road layout, important streets are labelled and a hierarchy created. Then each tourist location has been illustrated in a fair amount of detail using photographs for reference. A sub-map also illustrates the wider area to include more out-of-town locations.

The artwork is all ready for their designer to add location markers for shopping, eating and nightlife destinations, with space for listings and advertisements on the reverse.
